I was able to enjoy this book to some degree. I'm not a fan of Harry Potter and i don't agree with homosexuality, so the book lost points for those. Despite that, i really got into the book for just over half of it. I was able to relate to Cath and Fangirl made me want to read fanfiction, forgetting that the reason i don't is that most of it is terrible.
However, when Cath and Levi started dating, it just got weird. Don't get me wrong; I wanted them to be together. But Cath's behavior was just too awkward for me to want to read about after that development. And the ending is poor. It just kind of stops. I'd heard before that endings are Rowell's weakness.
